World Missions

My Father’s House has been a “missions-minded” body of believers since its inception in 1982 with annual short-term mission trips overseas; some of them including our youth group.

On these trips we have spread the Gospel, taught pastors and leaders, and have taken part in local projects.

India – Andhra Pradesh

Pastor Fred Naedele began going to India in 1976. Rev. Manuel Fernando asked Pastor Fred to accompany him and help him preach to the masses in Southern India. Most meetings at that time were large crusades over a wide area of India but in 1980, he switched his ministry emphasis and became specifically involved as apostolic oversight for the work in Andhra Pradesh in order to have a more localized in-depth ministry. While the crusades saw many Hindus, Muslims and others accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, there was no in-depth follow-up and applied teaching. It was as if Christ became just another of their 330 thousand gods.

My Father’s House India was birthed in 1984 when Pastor Fred and Pastor Ch. Premachandrudu of Velpur, Andhra Pradesh teamed up. Pastor “Prem” had been well-tested and in the ministry since 1947, had a solid grasp on Biblical teaching and had a solid base of trained and committed pastors, Bible women and about 30-40 churches and approximately 6,000 believers. By concentrating our energies and limited funds, we could make a more lasting impact, train national pastors and Bible women, develop cottage industry concepts, develop closer spiritual relationships and most of all, be able to see lasting results for efforts expended.     

Each year Pastor Fred took a team to India to teach, baptize, and preach at the annual convention, ministering to hundreds of former Hindus and Muslims.   Over the years the ministry in India has grown to over 40 churches, an orphanage and a hospital.

Pastor “Prem” has since gone home to be with the Lord but his sons and grandsons have taken over the ministry that flourishes to this day. 

Bangladesh

We have recently partnered with a former Muslim who now follows Jesus Christ. For his safety as well as our own we will not mention his name here.

In spring of 2008, Pastor Fred and Donna were invited to travel to Bangladesh where they taught the pastors and district leaders. The Lord lead them to teach on the Baptism of the Holy Spirit. Since that time, teams are now going annually to help him train his district leaders.
The founder of this ministry is a college graduate, having a degree in business administration. He is using his knowledge to help his people become independent businessmen and women because when a Muslim becomes a Christian most of them lose their jobs and are even shunned by storeowners. Entrepreneurs range from rickshaw drivers to sewing machine operators to families who join together to plant a rice field.

Their major need is Bibles in the Bangla language.
